Dr. Juan C. Calvo

I am an intern doctor and health influencer with leadership capacity to perform in the different direct health environments, both globally and locally, as well as in related programs such as Promotion and Prevention, clinical practice, family and community medicine, with proven capacities for Emergency Medical Care and daily clinical practice, performing different diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, always applying the ethical and legal principles of medical practice in the health system without neglecting respect for colleagues and patients. Currently, I have scientific quality and updating in health which I reflect on the different social networks and in my videos as a learning method in medical practice, in addition to my consultations.

My story

From a young age my inclination for medicine began thanks to my parents who encouraged research and reading from my earliest years; to my uncles who from generations leave the admiration and dedication inclined towards the health sciences.

I decided to enter the Faculty of Medicine of the Cooperative University of Colombia - Villavicencio Campus in 2015, where I began my inclination for the clinical method and for research. There I trained as a general practitioner with a large group of specialists from various disciplines, who highlight the human value that carrying the title of doctor means and with whom I conducted research. My passage through specialties leaves several research papers which are published later.

In 2021 I did the rotating internship at the Corporación Clínica Primavera de Villavicencio, at the height of the COVID19 pandemic, and in 2022 I received the title of general practitioner.
